Hello ! Welcome.
Let me introduce myself –
I’m Emily Gibb,
an Australia-based stylist.
I’m humbled you’re here.
I consider it a privilege to do
what I do and work to show
my appreciation by
working with intent,
leading with kindness,
cultivating creative magic
through collaboration
and producing style with purpose.
I’m lead by my client’s intentions
and I consistently look to
work collaboratively to achieve
– and surpass – expectations.
Importantly, I feel that we should
be able to enjoy ourselves
while we’re at it, too.
For me, sustainable, low-waste practices are a continual priority,
WIP and forever at the forefront
of all that I do.

It’s always quality over quantity.

At the same time, my work is
not about
being loud for the sake of it.
The focus should be on the individual, the product, the details…
Confidence, beauty and energy
should do the talking, emanating through.
I happily share my knowledge & am always
looking to connect with new people.
So, if the above sparks any questions,
don’t hesitate to reach out.

ABOUT ME

Since finding my feet in
the publishing industry at
ACP Magazines/Bauer Media Group,
I’ve worked on countless,
varied projects.
From large scale, global campaigns
right through to brands
& creatives first shoots.
Consequently, I’ve had the privilege
of working with premier,
global names and some of
the best photographers and
creative teams in the country.
As a result, I'm confidently comfortable working with people, clients and brands across a broad range of demographics.

I recognise that everyone is an individual and strive to work with
different body shapes & types
with kindness and compassion.
Empowering individuals
is what I strive to do
and is repeatedly the result.
I love a challenge
and, to put it simply,
working with good people.
I readily embrace diverse representation across age, ability, race and genders
throughout the fields
I find myself working in.

SUSTAINABILILTY

Across the board, embracing sustainable practices feels second nature to me.
I appreciate sustainability in general
can seem intimidating
and overwhelming to many.
I readily encourage inclusivity
and gentle sharing of information
rather than pressure, creating
exclusion or dissuasion.
In order to move forward in the world as we know it, I feel it’s intrinsic to do what I can, little or large, to keep waste and impacts to my immediate surroundings as minimal as possible.
If you’d like to join me in doing so,
great, if not…well, I’d respect
your decision not to !

Where possible, I work towards
styling clients, briefs and projects
with a priority towards sustainable, lower-impact practices.
This can extend to those between
the brands, creatives and businesses
that I style and work with.
Green-washing? Not my thing.
I do appreciate we can't all be
perfect in the pursuit
of our common goal, however,
it's of high importance
to me to constantly push
forward in reducing waste,
challenge the use and prevalence
of petroleum-based plastics
and embrace a mindful,
circular economy.
